Hot Take: Watch. Enjoy. Repeat.
I’ve been intrigued by the concept of living the same day over and over until you get it right ever since seeing Groundhog Day. Somehow Edge of Tomorrow escaped me last year when it was in theaters. Accidentally, this morning, I caught it on HBO and now I wish I wouldn’t have missed it at theaters.
Ironically, today, the power (curse?) of living the same day over and over again would have been incredibly useful. Off from my day job, I decided to get my oil changed. The Pep Boys I chose was close to a theater showing The End of the Tour. Taking a 2 mile walk on a 90-plus degree day after roughly a year off from the gym and firmly entrenched in an office job for the last 15 months is not a bright idea. If only I had a chance to live today over, I could have finally compared Uber and Lyft, planned a route with all sidewalks or, at the very least, bought a bottle of water and padded the baby toe on my left foot.
What’s this have to do with The Edge of Tomorrow? Nothing, really… maybe I’ll type this different when I wake up and do this all over again in the morning.

This is a Cruise calling card, isn’t it? - Cruise Is At His Smooth Talking Best
This is a Cruise calling card, too, right? - Cruise Does His Own Stunts, Again (and Again)
Umm… yeah.
“Spoiler Free” Cons
- Doesn’t Anyone Watch TV In the Future?
So, this Major Cage guy is a spokesperson for the military yet no one seems to recognize him? Maybe I missed something… let me watch it again. - Hey, Wait, It’s Not Groundhog Day, It’s a Video Game
The cinema cut scenes are phenomenal though. - The Obligatory Cruise Motorcycle Scene
This calling card can go.
