39 -NO REVIEW-
Super Simple Synopsis: Love, lust and divorce in Los Angeles.
Why Buy?
You have an unhealthy relationship with numbers divisible by 13.

You’re a fan of non-descript dramas that didn’t receive much fanfare.
Why Stream?
You feel sorry for it because you assume no one is watching.
Why Skip?
You’ve seen 39 coming out of the shower and man if it isn’t too depressing for words.
MHT Verdict: Skip it!
39 doesn’t look like anything you’d regret passing on.
The Divergent Series: Allegiant -MOVIE HOT TAKE REVIEW-

A complete waste of time.
The Dresser -NO REVIEW-
Super Simple Synopsis: It sounds fancy with Sir Ian McKellan and Sir Anthony Hopkins and Hermione from Harry Potter and all.
Why Buy?
You love Ian McKellan and Anthony Hopkins enough to not even care what the movie is about.
Why Rent?
You think a movie about a play in peril is a novel idea and the cast sounds delightful.
Why Stream?
You are watching all things loosely tied to Shakespeare that aren’t exactly Shakespeare.
Why Skip?
You have about as much interest in the theater as Brexit has in the European Union.
MHT Verdict: Stream it!
Seriously, Sir Ian McKellan, Sir Anthony Hopkins and Emily Watson? How could it go wrong?
Green Room -MOVIE HOT TAKE REVIEW-
Super Simple Synopsis: Punk rockers vs. white supremacists in a battle to the death.

Why Stream?
You don’t care about the hype but want to see Patrick Stewart as a villain.
Why Skip?
You don’t believe the hype.
MHT Verdict: Rent it!
While the hype for Green Room may have been a little too much praise, the premise is intriguing and the resulting film is memorable albeit tough to watch at times. It’s a tense viewing experience, that’s for sure.
Miracles from Heaven -MOVIE HOT TAKE REVIEW-
Super Simple Synopsis: So you’re telling me that when this baby girl feel 30 feet and hit her head just right, it didn’t kill her and it didn’t paralyze her… it cured her?

The Preppie Connection -NO REVIEW-
Super Simple Synopsis: Based on a true story about teen drug traffickers in the mid-1980s.
Why Buy?
You have seen most of the films in this genre and are an aficionado.
Why Rent?
You love IFC Films and enjoy most of what they release.
Why Stream?
You like the premise but that 11% Tomatometer makes you think this one should wait until it lands on Netflix and all you’re wasting is time.
Why Skip?
You’re more of a Slater fan than a Zac fan.
MHT Verdict: Stream it!
While the critics have been harsh, The Preppie Connection has mixed reviews with audiences enough to the point where it might be worth a watch when it lands on a subscription-based streaming service (not one you pay by the view).
Road Games -NO REVIEW-

Why Buy?
You love a good thriller especially one in the countryside of France.

Why Skip?
You hitchhike.
MHT Verdict: Rent it!
Road Games looks intense and scored highly with critics.

Why Buy?
You love far-fetched action thrillers and this sounds about as far-fetched as they come.
Why Rent?
You really think a movie like this could be any good? Yeah? Ok, then.
Why Stream?
You once had a theory like this and want to live vicariously through the movie. (By the way, do I know you because if I do, drop me a line and remind me not to piss you off.)
Why Skip?
You have high blood pressure induced by watching disappointing movies.
MHT Verdict: Stream it!
Sure, this probably isn’t very good but at least the plot is original.
