BuRStS #35 (Part 4): The Infiltrator, Complete Unknown, Hillary’s America & Joshy

Part 4 of BuRStS could be worse but with propaganda film Hillary’s America coming out this week, it’s already way down on the list. Here’s the 4th set of movies set for release on October 4th and 11th:

The Infiltrator —MOVIE HOT TAKE REVIEW—

Super Simple Synopsis: Based on the true story of federal agent Bob Mazur and his undercover operation into the Pablo Escobar drug trafficking ring.

Why Buy?

Bryan Cranston is an incredible talent.

Why Rent?

It’s not Benjamin Bratt’s fault he has to play almost every non-black minority bad guy.

Why Stream?

Even if you have no interest in the topic, look at the cast.

Why Skip?

You prefer lousy movies.

MHT Verdict: Buy it!

Cranston is great and the movie is compelling.

Complete Unknown –NO REVIEW–

Super Simple Synopsis: A married man recognizes a woman at a dinner party who disappeared 15 years ago.

Why Buy?

Michael Shannon is an amazing actor.

Why Rent?

Rachel Weisz isn’t bad, either.

Why Stream?

Even if it isn’t good, it’s only 90 minutes.

Why Skip?

You don’t like drama.

MHT Verdict: Rent it!

Anything with Michael Shannon in it is worth watching at least once. Even Man of Steel.

Hillary’s America –NO REVIEW–

Super Simple Synopsis: Bullshit propaganda film from a flimflam artist.

Why Buy?

You like bullshit. (Which also means you’re probably voting for Donald Trump.)

Why Rent?

You can’t look away from a trainwreck, either.

Why Stream?

You feel like getting drunk.

Why Skip?

You put a parental block on Fox News.

MHT Verdict: Skip it!

If you’d like to steal a copy and throw it in the garbage, you’d be doing the world a favor.

Joshy –NO REVIEW–

Super Simple Synopsis: A broken-off engagement won’t stop a debaucherous bachelor party.

Why Buy?

Because the bachelor party movie has never been done before.

Why Rent?

Adam Pally and Thomas Middleditch are indie sensations.

Why Stream?

Is that Aubrey Plaza?

Why Skip?

The Hangover trilogy ruined bachelor party movies forever.

MHT Verdict: Stream it!

It might have a few laughs.
